“ I always ordered the combo roasted pork belly and the bbq pork with rice. It was good and fulfilling. I just noticed that for roasted pork belly, they chopped it thinly. The sauce in the rice is very few so sometimes its dry. They also give you 2pcs of broccoli. Roasted pork at Hopwell in Renfrew is still better! ”
“ This is the closest Chinese bbq place to where I am. Their bbq meats are pretty decent, and their service is fast and efficient. I am a frequent returning customer, as it provides the Chinese food fix that I have a few times a month. They have daily specials which is a great deal- comes with meat + rice + soda drink. Their bbq pork has been their special for a long time, so I hope they can rotate their daily specials sometime. Though I still prefer Chinatown BBQ for their duck. For location, this is the best I can get here in Brentwood Burnaby. ”

The service was speedy and good. The taste of the duck is by far really delicious and I appreciated the nice crunch on the skin of the roasted pork. The taste deserves a 5/5 rating. I think that the portion size of the take out could use a bit of improvement, very little vegetable and more sauce seasoning is needed. I think that the price of around 15$ is fair but is somewhat on the pricey side but then again prices are increasing everywhere and inflation. I am overall impressed with the food as it is much closer to drive here than to Chinatown for Chinese BBQ. 4.5/5 Stars ”

The quality is good... not always consistent... but still very good and the workers always pack the correct amount of utensils that I request when many places on ubereats completely disregard notes that you write. “ Heard a lot of mixed reviews about Bona Fide BBQ in Brentwood Mall so decided to give it a try to see for ourselves. Got the 2 items combo, one with BBQ pork & soy chicken and the other with BBQ pork & free range chicken. I thought the food was pretty decent and actually a lot better than some other Chinese BBQ places. Close to $16 each, definitely not cheap but reasonable considering everything is so expensive nowadays. Service was friendly and efficient. ”
